BYD Unveils Denza B8 With 1,040KM Range

BYD has showcased the Denza B8 at PAPS 2026, bringing its premium Denza brand to the Pakistani market with a large plug-in hybrid SUV offering six or seven seats, serious off-road hardware and a claimed combined range of more than 1,000km.
The full-size, body-on-frame B8 sits well above BYD’s mainstream crossover range and combines a petrol engine with dual electric motors and a Blade Battery through Denza’s Luxury Super Hybrid DMO system.
The four-wheel-drive system produces a maximum of 450 kW and 760Nm of torque.
Denza claims the B8 can accelerate from 0–100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.
Its 36.864kWh BYD Blade Battery provides a claimed pure-electric range of 115km under NEDC testing, while the complete petrol-electric system extends claimed combined range to 1,040km.
The Denza B8 measures 5,195mm long, 1,994mm wide and 1,905mm tall, with a 2,920mm wheelbase.
It rides on 275/55 R20 tyres and offers seating for either six or seven occupants.
Luggage capacity reaches up to 633 litres.
The B8 features Denza’s DiSus-P Intelligent Hydraulic Body Control System, which adjusts suspension behaviour according to road conditions, speed and vehicle movement.
It also gets Leopard Turn, which manages wheel movement and torque distribution to reduce the space required for turning.
The system can assist during tight U-turns, narrow trails, parking manoeuvres and off-road driving.
Front and rear electronic differential control is also included.
The B8 can be configured with six or seven seats, with the second row available with executive-style seats featuring power adjustment, massage functions and powered leg rests.
Other cabin features include Nappa leather upholstery, ambient lighting, an 18-speaker Devialet audio system and a seven-litre refrigerator with heating and cooling functions.
The dashboard features a 17.3-inch central display and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
It also offers a head-up display, digital rear-view mirror, night-vision system, four-zone voice interaction, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Denza mobile app controls.
