Karachi Mayor Inaugurates Rs. 128 Million Upgraded Dual Carriageway

Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Thursday inaugurated an improvement and rehabilitation project for a dual carriageway in Block J, North Nazimabad.
The 3,500-foot-long road project was completed at a cost of Rs. 128.3 million and is aimed at providing residents with safer and improved travel facilities.
According to the mayor, the project includes the construction and rehabilitation of the entire 3,500-foot road stretch, along with a paved shoulder.
A 3,500-foot-long footpath has also been constructed to improve access and safety for pedestrians and local residents.
Deputy Mayor of Karachi Salman Abdullah Murad, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentary Leader in the City Council Karamullah Waqasi, City Council members, elected representatives, and other officials attended the inauguration ceremony.
Wahab said improving roads and basic civic infrastructure remains a priority for the city administration. He added that similar development projects would continue across Karachi in the wider public interest.
