Motorola has officially re-entered Pakistan through a strategic partnership with CoreTech, which is handling the brand’s local distribution. One of the phones now available in the country is the Motorola Moto G77 5G, a mid-range model featuring a high-resolution AMOLED display, 108MP camera and 5G connectivity.
The Moto G77 5G features a 6.78-inch Extreme AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2772 × 1272 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The 10-bit panel can display more than one billion colors, covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and reaches up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness.
Motorola has added Water Touch support, while Gorilla Glass 7i protects the screen. The phone carries an IP64 rating and meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards. It measures 164.18 × 77.37 × 7.33mm and weighs 182 grams. Pakistani buyers can choose between Pantone Black Olive and Pantone Shaded Spruce.
The phone runs on the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset with an octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.5GHz and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
The version available in Pakistan comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. RAM Boost can increase available memory to 24GB, while a microSD card can expand storage by up to 2TB.
The Moto G77 has a 108MP f/1.7 primary camera with PDAF, 9-in-1 pixel binning and 3x lossless zoom. Digital zoom extends up to 10x.
An 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera handles wider shots, while the front has a 32MP selfie camera. Both the main and ultrawide rear cameras can record 2K video at 30fps, while the selfie camera also supports 2K recording.
A 5,200mAh battery powers the phone, with support for 30W wired charging.
The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model is currently the lowest priced at Rs. 92,999 in Pakistan. It is being sold with an official brand warranty.
